If you’ve never really trained, or you’re still wondering where you belong, Level 1 is your starting point.

Already had prior training? You can take the mandatory $97 readiness assessment to determine if your baseline qualifies you to enter directly into Level 3.
Two starting points. The same commitment to standards. Levels 3 and 4 are mandatory for certification in your chosen modality. Previous training does not waive them, and passing the readiness assessment does not itself confer certification.

Levels 3 & 4 are mandatory for all
Every certification candidate must complete Levels 3 and 4 in each chosen modality. The readiness assessment establishes your starting level; it does not waive Levels 3 & 4 or automatically confer certification.
The 50 reading requirement remains
Entering at Level 3 requires completing 25 documented readings at Level 3 and 25 at Level 4, followed by your final certification weekend and exams to earn the registered Certified Spiritual Advisor (CSA)® mark.

What you’ll commit to
A four-month cohort. At least 6 of 7 live calls per chosen certification path, with active participation. 50 documented readings per path—25 at Level 3 and 25 at Level 4—plus required assessments. Students beginning at Level 1 also join the foundation calls.
You don’t have to turn this into a career for it to be meaningful.
You may want to serve others professionally. You may want to deepen your own understanding. Both are valid reasons to explore your development—with the same care, practice, and ethical foundations.
Certification Standards & Commitment
The Certified Spiritual Advisor (CSA)® certification is designed to be an immersive, participatory experience. Along the way, you’ll learn through video lessons, connect through live sessions with Lisa and your fellow students, put your skills into practice, and demonstrate your growth through assessments and your final certification weekend.
To be eligible for certification, you must complete the following requirements for each certification path you choose:
Live Participation
Students who begin at Levels 1 will participate in the Level 1 and 2 live calls during their first cohort, and will continue with the Level 3 and 4 live calls in the next cohort (April - July 2027).
Practice & Documented Readings
Complete 50 practice readings for each chosen path—25 at Level 3 and 25 at Level 4. A recipient evaluation, self-evaluation, and recording must be submitted for each reading.
Assessments
Complete and pass all required lesson and module exams before your certification weekend. If additional time is needed, remaining requirements may be completed during the following four-month cohort.
Your Certification Weekend
Once all required coursework, practice readings, and assessments have been completed, you will be eligible to participate in the final certification weekend, where you’ll demonstrate your skills as the final step toward certification.

Yes. You can explore Level 1 as a starting point for your foundations. Confidence is something to develop through learning and practice; you do not need to arrive with every answer.
If you have previous training and want to begin at Level 3, you must take the $97 readiness assessment. It checks whether your knowledge and ability meet the entry requirements. Approval is not automatic. If you are new to training or unsure where to begin, Level 1 is the starting point.
100% of your $97 fee is credited toward your tuition upon checkout. If you qualify for Level 3, your remaining balance reflects the $97 deduction. If recommended for Level 1, the $97 is credited toward your Level 1–4 tuition. You lose nothing regardless of outcome.
No. Levels 3 and 4 are non-negotiable for certification in each chosen modality. The readiness assessment only determines eligibility to begin at Level 3; it does not award certification.
You move with your cohort and watch video lessons at your own pace. Twice a month, you meet with Lisa for real-time questions, readings, coaching, and hot seats. Drop-in office hours and a cohort question group offer additional support, and we help you find practice clients.
The current program allows outstanding requirements to be completed during the following four-month cohort. Ask the Academy about the arrangements that apply to your circumstances.
No. Personal development can be your reason for joining. The certification pathway still involves the required practice, participation, and assessments.
